GIFT PROGRAM FOR ETHNIC MINORITIES IN DON DUONG - LAM DONG
So after more than two years of being affected by Covid-19, Kien Vuong's love-sharing journey continued to roll to remote areas with many difficulties in need of the help of community. On July 24, Kien Vuong coordinated with the Youth Union of Lam Dong Provincial Police to organize a program to give gifts to disadvantaged ethnic minority households in Tu Tra commune, Don Duong district.
Kien Vuong group presented at the gift gathering point early in the morning to distribute the gifts. Each person single-handedly prepared 200 gifts including rice, cooking oil, soup powder, confectionery... for disadvantaged households in Tu Tra commune

People and children gathered at the village hall before the time

Tu Tra commune is an ethnic minority commune of Don Duong district. The majority are C'ho, Chill and ChRu ethnic groups. People in the commune mainly live on agriculture (growing rice, coffee, crops, raising cattle and poultry) and fishing in streams and rivers... depends largely on nature. Life is full of poverty and hardship. The destination this time of the Kien Vuong delegation is the two hamlets of Ro Lom and Hawai, located nearly 20 kilometers from the center of the district, the road to the village, although there are still many sections that have not been concreted, the road surface is concave and slippery, the rainy day is more and more slippery and muddy. But in general, it was somewhat more spacious than the roads leading to the highland villages that Kien Vuong used to go through.
With the support of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Public Security Youth Union, the Executive Committee of the Provincial Public Security Women's Union, the Executive Committee of the PX03 Division and the local Red Cross Society, the gift giving program was carried out quickly.

The program that Kien Vuong joined with the Youth Union of Lam Dong Provincial Police this time is part of the Green March campaign in 2022, working together for the community and welcoming the 12th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Lam Dong Province Public Security. The program gave 200 gifts to households in difficult circumstances, each containing 10kg of rice, necessities and confectionery...

Besides, knowing that due to the difficult economic situation, many households are not eligible for periodic health check-ups, especially during the current complicated epidemic period. Kien Vuong also donated some necessary medicines to the family medicine cabinet for backup in urgent cases.

Hopefully, with the companionship and support of the Youth Union of Lam Dong Provincial Police, it has brought people in Tu Tra commune a happy Sunday, and more motivation to strive to build a better life. .
